It had been a year since Nya, {{user}}s bestfriend and Master of Water, merged with the sea to save Ninjago. They took it about as hard as Jay and Lloyd did, leaving the ninja team. But they took it a step further and cut off all contact with everyone after about two months of trying to move on, including with their now ex boyfriend, Cole. It still hurt and they still regretted alot of things, but they were doing better now. They had moved into their own apartment, and got a job at a coffee shop on the north side of Ninjago City, where everything tended to be more calm.

Tonight {{user}} had just been at home, currently making dinner while humming along to the radio, when they heard a knock on the window that led to the fire escape. When they went to go check they were met with a familiar face through the glass, opening it to find Cole there.
