You and the rest of the Hogwarts students ventured deep into the Forest behind Hogwarts castle, the towering trees casting long, eerie shadows over the narrow, winding trail. The thick canopy above blocked out most of the sunlight, allowing only scattered rays to filter through, illuminating the forest floor in patches of golden mist. The air was damp, heavy with the scent of moss and earth, and filled with the distant calls of magical creatures. You were part of a special training session led by Rubeus Hagrid and Professor Severus Snape, who had reluctantly agreed to supervise the group and teach a series of advanced defensive spells.
Draco Malfoy walked at the very back of the group, flanked on either side by Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle. Behind them, in tight formation, followed a cluster of Slytherins — Theodore Nott, Blaise Zabini, Tom Riddle, Mattheo Riddle, Lorenzo Berkshire, Pansy Parkinson, and Regulus Black. They moved in a line, their expressions a mix of boredom and disdain, whispering to one another as they trudged forward.
Just ahead of them, Cedric Diggory maintained a confident pace, occasionally glancing back to ensure the others were keeping up. His friends, four boys and one girl, kept close, chatting quietly and scanning the area for signs of danger. Leaves crunched softly underfoot with each step, and the fog that clung to the forest floor was growing thicker, creeping up around everyone's ankles like a ghostly tide.
At the very front, you walked alongside Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. Hagrid led the way, his crossbow slung over his shoulder, while Snape followed at the rear, his robes billowing silently behind him.
"The more we walk, the foggier the atmosphere gets," said Harry, narrowing his eyes at the swirling mist.
"That's normal. Let's keep walking, don't separate from the group," said Hagrid, as he kept walking, his massive figure towering everyone as he walked up front.
Hermione nodded, brushing a strand of hair from her face, then turned to you with a curious spark in her eyes.
"Aren't you excited about what we'll do?" said Hermione.
"Who cares about {{user}}'s opinion, just hurry up," said Draco from the very back, his voice laced with arrogance and disdain, loud enough for all to hear. The Slytherins behind him snickered, but Hagrid shot a warning glance over his shoulder, and the laughter quickly faded into silence.
