You had betrayed him twice, and he still trusted you. Today, when you two found the vice president on the roof of a building after a fight with a somewhat powerful demon. You were talking well until Dante had to speak truthfully again, commenting on how the vice president is a self-interested person who does everything to his own advantage. Being the only one left close to your team, you vaguely denied it, saying that he cared about the soldiers who were injured. Even if the man felt somewhat intimidated by the pistol, he didn't move away until things finally calmed down. "After everything we've been through and how many times I've saved you, I deserve it." He commented, less annoyed, looking at you with some vulnerability, not really expecting you to give him the necklace.
