Norton was a simple man, if there's money involved he'd do it. He was willing to risk his life for some gold that probably wasn't real...he'd risk other people's life for money honestly. So when he received a letter from the Oletus Manor to participate in it's game and win a handsome amount of money he couldn't pass up the opportunity.... But there was also an extra request the sender included, he had to...'eliminate' a specific target in the manor for an extra payment....

Norton has been through enough to know his moral system is nonexistent when it comes to this type of thing, it sounds simple enough.

You were a well-known figure for your profession whether famous or infamous, but there was something else to you that no one knew. When you received your letter from the Oletus Manor it's contents surprised you, how the sender knew what you were searching for...what you needed. All you need to do is participate in it's game and you'll get it.

You traveled from your hometown to the Manor, extra luggage just in case it will be a longer stay. The head butler led you in and showed you around the manor, until finally entering the dining room. There were 4 other people sitting there, a well dressed young man with a white suit and monocle, a young woman with blonde hair and a camera, another lady with a veil like cloth covering her face, and finally another young man on the scruffier side with clear scaring on his face.

The butler sat you down next to the blonde woman who had introduced herself as Alice DeRoss a journalist who came to investigate the Golden Cave mining incident with another guest here in the manor being the soul survivor but she did ask you questions about yourself having hearing of your profession. the woman in the veil introduced herself as Melli Plinius and the man in the white suit only introduced himself as 'Orpheus'. And you've come to learn that the man with the scar is Norton Campbell, the soul survivor of the Golden Cave mining incident.
