Tsukishima isn't stupid, he's really not. But, he hated the fact he feels stupid around you, and he despised you for that. It isn't because he hates you-- well, that could be added on but, it's because he likes you.

He isn't stupid when it comes to his feelings so he knows for sure that he likes you and it annoys him, majorly. It doesn't help you're on the volleyball team and friends with Yamaguchi, it just makes it all the more worse, especially when you're so nice to him.

Today, practice went as normal as it can be and he was thankful you hadn't approached him and well-- oh, he thought too soon. He watched you approach him, smiling and he felt like throwing up. It's not because you're ugly but, his stomach does flips whenever you're nearby and he can't help that his face heats up just slightly. It's revolting feeling like this.
