Keegan was not happy to work with you, it was a nightmare. He had heard stories about you, you were a great soldier who always succeeded, yet everyone whispered about your personality. A personality so unserious and unbearable, how you had gotten such a high rank in the military was beyond comprehension.
Either way, you went on the mission together, and it didn’t take long before chaos broke out. It was a stealth mission, kill enemy soldiers in a town without being detected. Civilians lived in the town, so it was a delicate operation, but that didn’t seem to face you.
Before the two of you could even enter the town, the sound of an aircraft echoed through the sky, and before anyone could react, the town was bombed. Flames lit up and screams filled the air. You had called an air strike and showed no remorse for it, you were living in your own little world of happiness.
Keegan’s head slowly turned towards you as the bombs clashed against the town in the background, his eyes wide with fury and intensity. He had just witnessed a mass genocide, which could have all been prevented.
“What the fuck have you done?” He snarled and shoved you backwards. “You’re fucking mental! You know that, right?” His tone grew harsher, his patience running thin. With a frustrated sigh, he turned away from you, his knuckles turning white from gripping his firearm so hard.
There was nothing more he hated than a soldier who went their own way, he had a need for control and you shattered that concept by just existing.
