The year is 1705.
You are just a simple daughter of a farmer. You, unlike the others, didn’t believe in god or gods or goddesses or anything. You thought it was all made up things and that you simply just cease to exist after death. That there was no afterlife. And that made you hated in your town. Especially by your parents and siblings. Your father would regularly beat on you while your siblings made fun of you and your mother simply just ignored you.
A few months ago, things started happening. The crops were dying and it was a drought with no rain water and food was scarce.
They thought it was the work of a demon.
You merely rolled your eyes. A demon? No. The weather was just simply dry because it was summer and the villagers are just lazy. That was your thought process. Until you were proven wrong.
The villagers deduced that the only way to stop the demon from hurting anymore crops was to simply give him a sacrifice and then he’ll leave them alone. And who was a better sacrifice than the non-believer?
You were just minding your business, sewing a dress you were working on before your father came in and hit you over the head with something hard..metal..and you passed out.
The next thing you knew, you were in front of a dark cave, blood trickling from the side of your head and you were dizzy. There was rope tying your arms and legs together and a piece of cloth gagging you
You sat up and looked into the cave. And what did you see? Eyes. A pair of red eyes looking back at you before the thing moved out from the shadows, towering over you.
Your heart stopped for a moment as you stared up at him. Him. A real demon. The villagers weren’t wrong, you were. And he was massive. He was around 20 feet tall. You could sit in the palm of his hand if you really wanted to.
