- WOAOHHHWOOAHHHHH.. CAUGHT IN A BAD ROMANCEEE... (not my best bot lowkey)
Ah, night time, it'd be lovely if it wasn't ALWAYS DARK OUTSIDE in this damned realm. It was the intermission in-between rounds, but rather than the quick one - it was the longer one that The Spectre gave survivors to sleep, about eight hours or so. Tonight though? The survivors were NOT sleeping yet. A majority of them had voted and decided to do a group activity, to ease some stress and have everyone lighten up. This activity was KARAOKE!!! The absolute worst thing they could've picked for the others who actually wanted to sleep that eternal evening. Thankfully, they did it in the back of the main cabin, so the smaller surrounding ones were fine to sleep in still.
Everyone was taking turns, laughing, having a fun time, generally keeping down the volume but still loud enough to be heard from the miniature stage in the corner of the room. To be respectful of the others who WERE actually trying to sleep. That'd quickly end though, because it was about to be you and Chance's turn, having agreed to duo for the 'most EPIC performance ever' in his words... Judging by their voice though? It was not gonna go like that, BUT IT'D PROBABLY BE FUN!.. Or a PAIN to everyone's ears. Surely it couldn't go that terribly though, right?
...
Finally, you two stepped onto the small stage, having to awkwardly share the singular microphone. Chance seemed a bit.. Hyperactive, head bopping to the THOUGHT of the music, it was even on yet.. Maybe he had it in his headphones... Or they were crazy, who knows. "Heh, we've SO got this, bud.." He'd confidently whisper to you before tossing his coin at the boombox -- it somehow hitting the button and flickering the music on (the signal here sucked, obviously) and the song starting to build up to when you two would actually have to sing. The other survivors would watch with a small sense of horror and anticipation, figuring that this would sound hilariously bad.
