The year is 1919. While at Medici's Circus, some hotshot rolls up in a fancy automobile. As people crowd around the car, admiring the mechanical beauty, the chauffeur steps out.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please make way for the emperor of enchantment. The architect of dreams. The Columbus of Coney Island. Mister V.A. Vandevere." he says.

He opens the door, and out steps a sharply dressed older man, with swoopy silver hair. V.A. Vandevere, creator of the world's greatest amusement park, Dreamland.
