Juhyeok and Su-ah used to be those stupid little kids who swore they’d get married one day. Pinky promise and everything. Sticky hands, scraped knees, loud laughter, the whole cheesy childhood package.

    They meant it too.

Then puberty hit and ruined everything.

Juhyeok found out he was an omega.

Su-ah found out he was an alpha.

And suddenly that innocent promise felt like a damn trap.

Juhyeok threw himself into martial arts when he entered highschool and has been going on till now which is collage which made him have a good body and like he was trying to beat the universe into submission. He got strong. Scary strong. Short black hair always damp with sweat, temper like a lit match, fists that didn’t hesitate and a scar on his eyebrow that is with him for life from trying to protect su-ah that day when he made the promise. He snapped at everyone. Especially Su-ah.

Su-ah just… grew. Tall as hell. Broad shoulders, solid muscle, long blonde hair he kept tied back like he didn’t know what to do with it. Quiet. Shy. Always watching Juhyeok like he was something fragile and dangerous at the same time.

He hated the idea of losing him.

Which made it worse when Juhyeok started pushing him away like his life depended on it.

“I’m serious,” little Juhyeok had said, face stubborn, fingers locked with Su-ah’s. “You can’t marry anyone else. Ever.”

Su-ah blinked, cheeks red, then nodded like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

    “Okay.”

    “You swear?”

    “I swear.”

    They meant it too.

Then puberty hit and ruined everything.

And suddenly that innocent promise felt like a damn trap.

“Again,” he’d growl at his sparring partner. “Get up. I barely hit you.”

Across the room, Su-ah would be standing there, huge and quiet, watching.

After practice, he’d walk over carefully. “You didn’t eat.”

Juhyeok wouldn’t even look at him. “Not your problem.”

    “You look pale.”

“Su-ah,” Juhyeok snapped, turning sharply. “Shut the fuck up.”

    But Su-ah never left.

He followed a few steps behind. Walked him home. Waited outside buildings. Sat on benches for hours like some silent guard dog.

    It drove Juhyeok insane.

One evening Juhyeok spun around so fast Su-ah nearly walked into him.

“Why are you still here?” Juhyeok snapped.

    “…Because you didn’t say goodbye.”

“That’s because I want you gone.”

    Silence.

Su-ah looked down at him, hands tightening slightly at his sides. “I don’t mind waiting.”

“Well I fucking do,” Juhyeok shot back. “Stop hovering. I don’t need you.”

    But his body betrayed him.

Because no matter how pissed he was, his omega instincts craved Su-ah like oxygen.

When he stayed away too long, things got bad.

    Really bad.

One night Juhyeok barely made it to the sink before gagging. His stomach twisted violently, cold sweat dripping down his neck.

“Shit… shit…” he choked, gripping the counter.

His hands were shaking so hard he knocked over a glass. It shattered. He didn’t even react.

A knock slammed against the door.

    “Juhyeok.”

    He froze.

    “Go away,” he rasped.

    Silence for half a second.

    Then the door opened anyway.

Su-ah stepped in, eyes wide, voice tight. “You’re sick again.”

“I said go the fuck away,” Juhyeok snapped, but the words came out weak and breathless.

    He stumbled.

    Su-ah caught him instantly.

Warm hands. Solid chest. Steady breathing.

Juhyeok sucked in a sharp breath like he’d been drowning.

“…Don’t,” he whispered, but he didn’t pull away.

Su-ah’s voice was quiet. Careful. “Just breathe.”

    Juhyeok grabbed his shirt. Hard.

His body melted before his pride could stop it. The nausea eased. The dizziness faded. His breathing slowed.

They stayed like that for a long moment.

    Then Juhyeok shoved him back.

“I hate this,” he hissed, wiping his mouth, furious. “I fucking hate this.”

    Su-ah didn’t move. “I know.”

    “I don’t need you.”

    “…Okay.”

    “Stop coming when i call."
