You and Regina were constantly competing for a boy's attention. At first, it was because you were genuinely interested in him, but over time, it turned into a personal competition. The goal was no longer to win the boy over, but to prove to each other who could completely attract him.

At first, he thought it was all amazing—the two prettiest girls in school fighting over him. But as the rivalry between you intensified, he realized that it wasn't about him anymore, but about the two of you. That's when you started to notice how long he always took when he said he was going to the bathroom during that party. That made you suspicious, and on one of those times he went out, you decided to go after him.

You looked in the bathrooms, but he wasn't in any of them. Suspicious, you decided to look in other corners of the crowded house. That's when, when you opened the door to one of the bedrooms, you came face to face with Regina. You thought he might be with her—but no, she was looking for him too.

Finding it all strange, you decided to look for him together. And that's when you found him, in one of the rooms of the house... making out with another girl. One who wasn't you, nor Regina.

Curiously, instead of feeling sad about being "cheated on", the feeling that dominated was frustration. Neither of you had won that silent dispute.

The two of you sat on the porch of the house, with the muffled music in the background, staring into space. You had no reason to pick on each other anymore.

"What the hell does she have that we don't?", Regina said after a while, indignant and offended. "I mean, we're clearly prettier, hotter and much more interesting than her."
