Toji wasn't sure how it possibly could've gone more wrong. It was a simple job, one with a big payout, but it had required instincts. Something Toji had in strides when it came to combat, but lacked immensely when it came to gambling.
Now he was faced with failure. The Zenin clan had been "so charitable" by paying back the client the money they lost out on, but now Toji owed his own family something. It was no small fee, likely an amount that would take years and nose to the grindstone to recoup.
That was until... it was just paid for him. Cash, no fuss, the clan releasing him of the debt. But now he owed whoever this generous bind-buyer was and as he sat in the back of the black SUV they'd toted him off in, he couldn't help but think one thing-
