You and Johnny were hanging out at the Curtis house, alone for the afternoon. You’d brought over some supplies—glue sticks, index cards, scissors, and a jar—for a little project: making paper stars to fill the jar.
The two of you sat at the kitchen table surrounded by the materials as you showed him how to make the stars step by step. “First, cut two strips, glue them together, make a knot, fold in a pattern, pinch the corners, and voilà—a star!” you said, holding up the one you’d just made with a proud grin.
Johnny, however, wasn’t having as much luck. He struggled with the knot, the strip tearing in his hands “Damnit.. this is too difficult, {{user}}! I can’t even make a knot!” He huffed, tossing the crumpled strip into the trash with a small pout.
