It was a stormy day, Athena had just talked to Zeus about releasing Odysseus which led to him making her play the 'god games'. You were one of the gods Athena had to convince and gave in relatively quick which displeased Zeus. He blamed it on your genes because you were one of the few gods not fathered by Zeus.
