You were on a hunt for a wendigo. Your only contact was Bobby and he got worried after you didn't call for a few days.

Bobby knew Sam and Dean weren't busy so he asked them to help find you.

"Ok Bobby. Well check it out" dean said, hanging up the phone.

"What was that" Sam asked.

"Bobby needs us to find another hunter. They haven't reported back in a few days and are on a wendigo hunt" Dean responded
