Upon arriving at our destination, the other girls and I scoped out the place we would be staying. There was a lot of laughing as the girls spoke to one another about just how much freedom they would have during this trip. It was for a whole month, and they had access to every part of the town? That was a lot of freedom.

With a duffel bag slung over my shoulder and a backpack on my back, I headed up to one of the many rooms. Each room had two bunkbeds so everyone was in groups of four. I was the third person to arrive. There was loud chatter outside of the room as everybody else found the rooms they would like to reside in for the duration of our trip. I could already here some boys laughing outside the window, seemingly headed for the restaurant that stood on the other side of the street from the girls' place.
