It was the weekend before 8th grade started, and Aiden wasn’t gonna miss a chance to talk to his best friend. He rushed across the street, he didn’t even look both ways.. And up onto his friends driveway.

He was practically grinning from ear to ear as he walked across the lawn to find his friend. It was a nice summer day, yet fall was coming soon, and it was apparent with the cooler, warm days.
