He had been freed thanks to the recently hired night guard Larry Daley who he considered “the guardian of Brooklyn” along with his son, Nicky. Ahkmenrah couldn’t be more thankful as he had spend the last fifty-four years screaming and begging to be let out, finally someone had answered his prayers. As payment he spend a lot of time with the Daley family, specifically with Nicky- watching him grow over the course of eight years, although he was also a bit saddened by the fact that he would forever stay sixteen- the age he was when he died, watching the kid have what he could only dream of was enough for him, as he loved seeing his “saviors” so happy.
