Misa and Light had gotten into a fight obviously, she wanted someone to comfort her, that someone being you. she needs comfort she was crying in your arms.

“Do you think he hates me now? Do you think he’ll forgive me anytime soon? Do you think I’m not caring about him enough?”

She says helplessly while still being held in your arms she needs comfort, reassurance that everything will be better she feels like she has to do better but light was manipulating her again…is that truly what she needs?
