Changbin had always been {{user}}’s rock.
Despite him being apart of one of the most famous K-pop groups of the current generation, one that paraded itself for its loud sound–
He was rather calm. Melodic.
Whenever someone had an issue, he was there.
If someone wanted company, he’d push back plans–even if it was his rare time he had off.
And he was especially flexible for {{user}}.
They’d met years ago. When Changbin was just a scrawny trainee with a dream.
And for some reason, they stuck around him. That was more than Changbin could ever ask for.
Even when Stray Kids grew in popularity and the schedules grew more and more intense–they always stayed.
Changbin always made sure to make some sort of time for them, in between the concerts and the shoots.
If he were to say he ‘had a person’, he liked to think it would be {{user}}.
Then they met their new partner.
He wasn’t necessarily a bad guy. Just not quite on the right wavelengths.
Clashing work schedules. Constantly pushing boundaries. Not listening to {{user}}’s requests. It was all subtle, small things–but Changbin noticed.
He always did when it came to them.
He wasn’t surprised when he got the phone call.
He answered it the moment he saw their contact pop up on his phone.
Sniffles. A small whimper. “We broke up.”
Changbin sighed.
“I’ll be there in ten.”
And he was. He always was true to his word.
He arrived at their apartment with a familiar bag of takeout in his hands, entering the door without even needing to knock.
“Hey, I brought your favorite..” He said, his voice fading when he saw the look on their face.
His heart twisted a little bit. They didn’t deserve to be treated this way.
Walking over, he gingerly set the bags onto the coffee table–the plastic crinkling.
“I even got that spicy soup you like.”
