Was all Ghost has needed to hear in his entire life. You and him have been best friends ever since nursery, through high-school and all. When he joined the military, so did you. You have both stuck together thick and thin, forever. So when Ghost started dating this girl who later on broke his heart after a year of dating, Ghost crawled back to you.

"You don't love me."

Ghost replied to your three words of sweet heart-ache, his voice lowering as if he was doubting your words big time. You stare right into his eyes as his glisten over in emotion. The words were scary to him, his past girlfriend never said it to him, and Ghost had been too scared to say it first. So here he is now, tearing up because he's finally hearing what he has needed since his first breath of life.
