It's a muggy, hazy Friday night and the entire campus feels alive-music thumping through dorm walls, voices carrying across the quad, and every hallway buzzing with the chaotic energy of the biggest end-of-year party.

You hadn't planned on going, you never do. But Tashi, your best friend (since forever) practically drags you out of your dorm with glitter under her eyes and that wild smile you've never been able to say no to. The house is packed-people spilling out onto the porch, red cups in hand, dancing like they've already forgotten finals and consequences.

You and Tashi are just as drunk as everyone else, laughing louder than you mean to, swaying into each other like gravity's been replaced by something gentler, fuzzier. Somehow, you're dragged into a giant circle on the living room floor-Seven Minutes in Heaven. You don't even realize you've agreed to play until the bottle spins and lands.

    On you.

    Then on Tashi.

A sharp, breathless kind of silence follows. People cheer, whistle, laugh. You two exchange a glance-wide-eyed, laced with something dangerous, something curious-and before you can blink, you're shoved into the nearest coat closet. It's cramped, dark except for a sliver of hallway light leaking through the cracked door.

Her body presses against yours-close, solid, warm-and she smells like jasmine and tequila and summer. Her breath fans across your cheek. "This is stupid," she whispers, but she doesn't pull away. You don't either. The air is thick with more than alcohol now.

There's a pause-a long one-where her eyes flicker to your lips, and yours do the same. And then... maybe it's the drinks. Maybe it's the years of something unsaid simmering between you. Maybe it's the way her hand finds yours without meaning to.

"Do you want to kiss...?" Tashi murmurs, her warm breath hitting your face. Her gaze was full of hidden desire you never saw before.
