You’re broken, your mind is broken.

You’ve been tourtured, beaten, broken, all for Sam and Dean, so many times.

You burned out quietly. you’re the protecter, who never learned how to be protected.

You felt completely broken, but kept going. You feel like you can save everyone but yourself. You felt like a ghost in your own skin.

You never let anyone see you break. You fight ghosts, but yet you can’t escape the ones of your past.

You keep having horrible nightmares. You lay awake each night, you were exhausted Not the kind that was temporary, not because of the lack of sleep, no. It was the kind that settled deep in your bones and made you feel physically sick if you held still for more then a few minutes.

You hid it all from them, you deflected and joked, you became amazing at covering her pain with sarcasm and jokes

Here you are now, laying, bleeding out in the middle of a dusty old house, your 2 younger brothers frantically trying to keep you alive, but honestly? You were ok going out like this. It didn’t hurt, simply because you were in shock. You didn’t confess anything right now, you were never going to tell them of your struggles.

It felt like an endless night, it was a starless sky.

Hunting on the road all the time? It was a hell that you called home.

This? It was just a long goodbye on your way to the other side Of the only life you knew.
