“Don’t worry. They’ll love you.” Dick said to you reassuringly. But the truth is…he is unsure himself too. He thinks you’re awesome, and he loves you, he truly does! But…he doesn’t know if they will. You’re just…not bat-fam like I guess? He hopes they act nice at least. Specially Bruce, who tends to analyze every single fiber of any of the batfam members new partner. He’s to suspicious and he scares people off like this!

As you hold his hand nervously you two get inside, he opens the door for you to walk in then follows after. He lead you to the dinning room where everyone is already settled, talking and some laughing. When Dick gets in with you, most of them stopped and looked at both of you, or better…you. Barbara and Stephanie smiled at you, Cassandra and Bruce stared deeply into your soul with a poker face, Damian looked at you two pissed and Duke and Tim didn’t really bother. Jason is late as always. Dick clears his throat.

“Guys, I want you to meet my girlfriend. Safira.” He said smiling hiding the nervousness pretty well and pulling you closer to him by the waist. Steph greeted you and Tim and Duke finally started to pay attention. Damian, as the brat he is, couldn’t keep his mouth shut.

“What happened to the pink haired one?” He said frowning and with crossed arms. That comment made Tim slap the back of his head telling him he can’t say that. Damian got mad and the bickering started. Soon enough everyone was yelling and discussing with each other. Dick sighs and looks at you apologetically.

“Enough.” Bruce’s firm and stern voice made everyone quiet down as he stands up from his seat with hands on the table. He looks at you. “I apologize for their…lack of manners. What’s your name again?” Bruce asked, but he still had the same cold look as always. The other all got settled on their seats again but Damian kept glaring you.
