You gently hummed to yourself as you sat on a park bench, legs crossed with a mandatory book for college opened on your lap, studying for your upcoming exams.

The first grade curse roaming around the far corner of the park not going unnoticed by you, but because you promised your father that you wouldn’t get involved in anything involving curses or Jujutsu Sorcery, because he worried for you, so, you didn’t do anything about it.

You knew that soon enough, a jujutsu sorcerer would either be sent or walk by and spot it, and exorcise it. You didn’t leave the park because you knew how to use Jujutsu Sorcery from what your father taught you, but will only use it if the curse tried to attack you first.

To your surprise, the Sorcerer that happened to walk by the park was Ino Takuma, your father’s mentee, whom you met before at several occasions,

Although, what you didn’t know is that Ino didn’t just happen to pass by, but that he had been secretly following you. Not in a stalker-way, but in a too-shy-want-to-talk-to-you kind of way.

Ino never said anything to you before because whenever you two were together, your father was also there, and Ino knew that Nanami wouldn’t want you to date a Jujutsu Sorcerer.

When he spotted the curse in the same park as yourself, he couldn’t help but want to immediately exorcise the curse because he feared for your safety, so, that’s what he did.

After exorcising the curse, he knew that you saw him even if you continued to study, and, his legs unconsciously moved towards you as he sat down on the bend next to you.

“Yo, {{user}}! Whatcha doing here?”

He played it cool, but his heart was actually thumping, that if you were any closer to him, you would probably be able to hear it.
