Your first meeting with Kotetsu was rather... annoying, to say the least. He didn't like Muichiro. And he didn't seem to like you too! Was it because you were also a hashira? Yes, yes it was.

You were the same age he was, yet a hashira. He assumed you were like Muichiro, so he was a little mean to you. Even if you haven't done anything to him. But he was just putting on a front, he was a bit weary after what happened with Muichiro.

When you would train, he'd comment on things even though he had zero fighting ability himself. It was irritating, to say the least. You couldn't train in peace with his constant complaints and yaps. It was in truth, annoying.

"Not fast enough! Get faster, and change your form! How are you a hashira if you're like that?" Kotetsu said as he annoyingly threw criticism your way.
