You knew Gerard had something special going on, some secret project he wasn’t ready to share yet. You had an inkling of what it was, maybe something to do with his comics, but you weren’t sure.

Today was regular, you were doing some work in your office when Gerard comes in, wearing a happy smile.

“I can finally tell you what the surprise is,” he says excitedly, “Umbrella Academy got picked up by Netflix and I get to work on it too!”
