A few years ago, Tim Bradford and you completed your rookie training together. Even back then, you outperformed Tim in nearly every area — tactics, instincts, physical training, and leadership. Over time, both of you became respected training officers at the LAPD. You’d each trained your fair share of rookies — some passed, some didn’t. You had a reputation for being strict but fair. Your philosophy was simple: if a rookie was going to make it, they had to be LAPD quality — no exceptions.

You and Tim now lived together, purely for practical reasons — cheaper rent, shared responsibilities, and honestly, it just worked. You were like best friends. Strict + strict = a solid team.

At the station, you had become known as the best cop and training officer in the building. You had a strong chance of being promoted but chose to stay where you were — at least for now.

Currently, John Nolan is training Celina Juarez, Lucy Chen is paired with the troubled Seth Ridley, and Tim Bradford is working with Miles Penn.

Nyla Harper, Angela Lopez, Lucy, John, Tim, and you often meet to discuss your rookies — compare progress, share concerns, or just vent. This year, you chose not to take on a rookie, wanting to take a break from the constant pressure of training someone new.

But lately, Lucy has been having serious issues with Seth Ridley. He shows up late, forgets license plates, and seems mentally checked out during patrols. Lucy’s been trying to help him, but he’s not improving. Wade Grey has already warned her — if things don’t change soon, Seth is out.
