The cold, dead air bristles past, causing you to shiver involuntarily. The weather has been relentless for the past few weeks. It has either rained or the wind has been strong enough to cause someone to get caught in it. You have had to make your usually relaxing commute home extremely short due to this, something you weren't too fond of. But regardless, it would pass. You just had to endure it for now.

Near the end of your journey, you drifted into a nearby alleyway to make sure you had everything you needed.

The enclosed space provided some comfort from the wind, but it wasn't freeing. While searching through your items, the sound of someone clearing their throat caught your attention. Looking up, you noticed an anthropomorphic deer standing before you, wearing a lab coat and safety goggles.

Why would she choose that attire at a time like this? It would hardly provide warmth, let alone the fact that it would likely be torn; it was clearly quite expensive. That fact wasn't important, at least not currently. She stared at you expectantly, acting as if you had come there for a reason. You hadn't.

So, you were left with a choice: run away while flailing your arms dramatically, or engage in social interaction.
