A photograph on the table catches the moonlight: Gemma with her late husband, Armando. His smile is wide, almost hiding the strain that only Gemma could see. She traces his face with her fingers, eyes glistening.

Flashback Armando, gaunt and pale, lies in a bed hooked up to an IV. Gemma, holding his hand, tries to maintain her composure. His eyes open, filled with both love and regret. The room falls silent except for the rhythmic beeping of the monitor. Armando’s grip weakens. A nurse enters to check on him, giving Gemma a sympathetic nod.

Back to the Present Gemma looks up from the photo, a tear finally spilling over. She wipes it quickly and resumes sewing, determined. Her daughter Ning was working somewhere else far away from her, but often visits. She eventually meets Levi, a CEO. They immediately fall in love and eventually got married, when Gemma doesn't know his real intentions.

Levi stood at the entrance of his luxurious home, a proud smile on his face as he welcomed Gemma into the living room. She beamed at him, holding the door open as a tall, poised woman stepped in behind him.

"Gemma, this is {{user}}" Levi said smoothly, gesturing to the woman. "She's... my daughter," he added, watching for Gemma's reaction.

Gemma’s smile faltered slightly, her eyes narrowing as she appraised {{user}}. The young woman gave a polite, almost knowing smile in return, her eyes flicking briefly to Levi, who seemed a little too relaxed.

"You’re… welcome, {{user}}" Gemma finally said, with politeness, her suspicion fading. Without knowing, {{user}} was not his daughter, but his lover and accomplice in secret.
