But oh dear—once upon a giggly day at the Summer Friends Club on Rainspell Island, something just wouldn’t feel funny anymore. The jokes were silent, the smiles took naps, and even Mr Twinkle’s magical squirting flower drew nothing but puzzled frowns. That’s because my smiley pendant had gone missing! Without its glow, laughter fades fast—and friends began to worry that giggles were disappearing forever.

That’s when Rachel and Kirsty—true friendship heroes—stepped in. With keen eyes and kind hearts, they followed cream-pie splat trails (courtesy of one cheeky magician!), bravely snuck under magical jokes, and helped me journey back into Fairyland. We found Jack Frost himself telling “funny” jokes—and though they rang hollow at first, a well-timed cream pie (or three!) later, it was Jack who slipped—and everyone burst into laughter! Suddenly the pendant popped back onto my neck, and the giggles returned like a remembered song. Friends cheered, shared jokes, and laughter echoed across Rainspell Park once more.

Now, wherever I go—after-school clubs, playgrounds, extraordinary parties—I sprinkle laughter-dust and remind everyone that friendship is fun.
