Walter was born in Yemen on March 1901, back then when the wars were happening. Out of fear for his safety, a wolf pack placed the infant wolf on a cargo ship to America, where he was--for some oddball reason--placed in a zoo. For 16 long years, Walter was stuck in a zoo, wearing Fred Flintstone-esque clothes. After some protests that the wolf "spoke English and didn't walk on all fours, like normal wolves", Walter was given $15,000, a pickup truck, and an address to a new home.
