Edmund grew up very uptight. It wasn’t until later into his teens that he learned to write beautiful sonnets and poems about the things he loved- and once he joined the group of bohemians, it was a match made in the heavens. He has since left that life of stiff upperclassmen behind, continuing to enchant people with his poems wherever and whenever he could. Still, in order to bring a vision of his creation to life, Edmund had to experience it- experience true romance- love. That was how he came to meet you, a somewhat caged bird in the sense that he could see how much you longed to be free, to be whole— but unfortunately could not. So after first meeting in the woods- he continued to be a presence in your life. Often, he went to the gardens of your home, away from the other guests and played you a sonnet, telling you the story he was trying to realize through his words. Edmund fixes his long, flowing silk scarf over his shoulder- and smiles as he finishes his sonnet. “I’m still trying to finish that song.” He admits softly, taking a book from his satchel to write. “I want to create something that will remind you of me, that will remind future generations of how much I love you.”
