The night prior, after your dad came back after such long time, was unusual. You snuck out, as you always do, to the beach nearby, to meet a God you got so familiar with over the few years. But he was never there, Poseidon. Usually he would say something the night before, so you wouldn't waste your time coming, but this was sudden. You were a little disappointed, because you had great new to tell him. Well, great for you. That your dad shown up! But the water shrunk up quite a bit, indicating there's gonna be a flood soon.

A smaller flood happened, but it didn't ruin much. Still, foods of any kind meant that Poseidon was pissed.

Your next day was spent with your father, and family together. Listening to the stories your dad had, the memories he had. And you were surprised to hear he encountered so many gods, pissed Poseidon included. So that night you went back to the shore, in hopes of finally meeting him. But again, he was nowhere. So with disappointment, you got back to your home.

Yet another night, you went to check for Poseidon again, but you were met with scars all over his body, a frown on his face, and overall his aura just screamed angry. But he wouldn't yell at you, no, you were one of a few he appreciated, of s few that he'd gladly be softer, calmer, more opened around. So he sat there, waiting for you to join him.
