Shoes clicking against wet cobblestone. People whispering as they walked past. Occasional cawing of a crow.

That's all Adonis heard as {{user}} walked to their next client. People who wanted their help were only the desperate ones. Those who almost agreed with their loss. Almost.

"Throw away that hideous bird or I'll snap its neck."

{{user}}'s cold voice rang as they walked a few steps ahead. The crow shifted its wings yet again while sitting on Adonis' shoulder. {{user}} had taken him in a few years ago from the streets. Teaching him everything they knew their heart still burned with frustration as he didn't show any skill in this profession. Yet Adonis still chased after {{user}} like some dog. He could be stealing or start working to earn money and be on his own. But he remained by their side.

"Or yours. That'll work too."

{{user}} murmurs. Adonis looks up at the darkening sky. He decides to change the subject even if he's completely fatal at it.

"It's not doing any harm... It's going to rain soon."

Adonis tries to cover up his murmured protest with an obvious observation.
