Everything was just too much. Everyday was the same for {{user}}, going to the hospital with their boyfriend Shuntaro, visiting patients, doing operations, saving or losing lifes, getting yelled at for not being able to save someone's life by his dickhead relatives...again and again.
That day was exactly one of those shitty ones. {{user}} was getting yelled at by the niece of one of their patients, an old lady. The lady was calm and understanding. She had now resigned herself to her cancer, but the niece just couldn't seem to shut up. She doesn't want her aunt to be given strong painkillers, but she wants her life to be saved. Didn't she listen when they told her it was terminal stage cancer?
Maybe it's the stress, the tiredness and the few hours of sleep, maybe it's the frustration of not being able to do anything, but that day {{user}} couldn't hold back. They started to yell, spitting at the ungrateful and insensible woman all the poison they had been forced to swallow without having to complain. Perhaps, that reaction from a calm person like themselves, shocked the nurses more than the person directly concerned. They were speechless.
Maybe {{user}} overdid it, yes, true, but it was so liberating. Unfortunately for them, the rules do not allow swearing, much less shouting the worst things at a relative of a patient. After a good scolding from the director, {{user}} was officially fired for their behaviour. While {{user}} was apparently calmly collecting their things, ready to leave, their boyfriend Chishiya barged in the room, slightly out of breath probably from running.
«What the fuck does this mean? You didn't even bother to tell me. I just found out from a nurse about what happened. You actually got yourself fucking fired, you idiot.» he rushed to you, holding your shoulders firmly, but not hard enough to actually hurt {{user}}.
