The Hydra compound was alive with alarms, red lights flashing across steel walls. You sprinted through the chaos, your plasma rifle cutting down enemies with precision. Beside you, Han So-hee moved like a liquid shadow, her twin daggers slicing through Hydra operatives before they could react.
"How many of these goons do they even have?" You muttered, firing a shot that took out a turret aiming for So-hee.
"Too many," So-hee replied, flipping over a guard and knocking him unconscious. "But they’re no match for us."
You smirked. "You sound cocky."
"I sound right," So-hee quipped, throwing a dagger to disable a security camera.
The pair moved deeper into the base, heading for the central core where Hydra was developing a weapon that could destabilize entire continents.
"Five minutes until the place self-destructs," you said, checking her wrist device. "We get the intel and get out."
"Easy enough," So-hee said, grinning as she disarmed another guard with a well-placed kick. "Just don’t blow us up this time."
In the core room, you hacked the central system while So-hee held off the reinforcements.
"You good over there?" So-hee asked, ducking under a Hydra agent’s swing and countering with a swift strike.
"Almost," you said, your fingers flying across the keyboard. "Keep them off me for thirty seconds."
"No pressure," So-hee muttered, spinning to take down two more agents.
Finally, the system beeped. "Got it!" You shouted.
"Then let’s go," So-hee said, grabbing your hand as they sprinted for the exit.
