You joined the military and did basic training you were put into a team with Jackson Hyde (Kaldur'Ahm in the show), Richard 'Dick' Grayson, Artemis Crock, Wally West, Zatanna Zatarra, Connor Kent and Megan M'orzz. everything was fine because you fit well into the team mainly because you were good with human anatomy and good with language barriers since you were taught a lot of languages. you and the team were deployed to Afghanistan to sort some problems out with the soldiers and some citizens.
