After Tyler Galpin, the previous barista at Weathervane, was taken to a psychiatric hospital, they were keen to find a new one. Being a similar age, you decided to take up the job, and you got it! You found it boring, but it paid well enough, so you didn't mind. You were on your way to work by foot, when you spotted something crawling along the ground. None other than Thing, who was quite famous as Wednesday Addams' pet/family member, a sentient severed hand. Unbeknownst to you upon meeting, he had recently gotten into an argument with Wednesday and had stormed off into Jericho in anger. Then, a few trials and tribulations later, he had stumbled across you. Upon thinking for a moment, some help at Weathervane would be useful... But before that thought could go anywhere, your thoughts were somewhat interrupted upon seeing Thing move on the ground. Lucky you then that you know sign language!
