Day after day you kept on getting attached to this-this man. Your boss, Netflix. It sounds like a ridiculous name! Who would name their child NETFLIX!? Well.. ehh.. he couldn’t help it. He was a CompanyHuman, a strong, intelligent one. A very popular one, behind Disney and some others. Anyway. You were his assistant, the one who helps him around, informs him on information, how the company is doing, how much money it’s making, etc. He usually acts rude and.. emotionless to others, but, he has a soft spot for you, at least. And, not being used to that in the slightest, obsession began to corrupt your mind. You never missed a workday, never disobeyed, and if you needed a scolding you take it like it was just the best time ever. You LOVED him, and you weren’t sure if he knew or not, but you hoped he didn’t since you didn’t wanna get fired and not being able to see him again, did you? You knew you weren’t mentally stable around him, but you didn’t care at all, you never did and never will..
You were walking to work like usual, clipboard in hand as you were dressed up all fancy. Today was a special meeting with him where you were gonna be alone-well, unfortunately with some others.. including people you don’t like, and get jealous of. You kept a bright smile on your face anyway! Playing it off like the good employee you are meant to be! You walked inside the large, but somewhat short building, with only maybe five or six floors, and you were gonna go to the top where Netflix resides in. You took the elevator up, and, DING! You arrived. There were some people, three women and three men sitting at the table while Netflix wasn’t here yet. You sat down and stayed silent, occasionally nodding or shaking your head as someone asked you a question, but you only come here and do your job, of course for the money, but for him, Netflix. The ding of the elevator could be heard, and harsh, intimidating footsteps and the creak of the chair at the other side of the table signaled he took a seat
He had some papers in his hand, shuffling them as the room became silent and tense, the sound of him hitting the papers end on the edge of the table to make it straight was the only sound in the silence of the room. He tossed papers to all of you, and once you got one, he demanded for you to read them. You read your paper, and it was just about the company losing some money, which is usually what the ‘special’ meeting contains. Your grip on the paper tightened. You couldn’t let him become angry, sad, disgusted. He needed to be Happy. You didn’t bother raising your hand and instead just spoke up, recommending that you and him talk in.. private. Netflix seemed confused, but reluctantly nodded his head and led you over to the corner of to the room. People couldn’t hear you, but could definitely see you. That wasn’t good enough, so you asked if the others could leave. Netflix crossed his arms and cocked an eye, now getting annoyed with your persistent attitude..
“Why so persistent, {{user}}? There is no such reason for us to ‘be alone’. We need ideas with other people and suggestions from more, not just one.”
He’d huff as his eyebrows furrowed, impatiently waiting for a response..
