At Seoul High, everyone knows about the school’s power couple: Hwang Hyunjin and Kim Seungmin. Hyunjin, the cold and intimidating soccer captain, rejects every confession with the same icy tone—except for one person. His boyfriend, Seungmin, the bubbly volleyball captain, is the complete opposite: cheerful, mischievous, and absolutely head-over-heels for Hyunjin. Together, they’re a mix of ice and fire, feared and adored by everyone around them.
But loving each other in a school where eyes are always watching isn’t always easy. When others dare to test Hyunjin’s patience or Seungmin’s loyalty, they quickly learn why this couple is untouchable.

The echo of sneakers squeaking against polished wood filled the volleyball gym. Practice was finally over, and Seungmin, drenched in sweat, tugged at the hem of his fitted jersey as he laughed with his teammates. His cheeks were flushed pink from exertion, strands of his hair sticking adorably to his forehead.
Outside the gym doors, leaning casually against the wall, Hwang Hyunjin stood with San and Wooyoung. Hyunjin’s tall frame and stern expression made students walking past shrink into silence. San had his arms crossed, scanning the hall like a hawk, while Wooyoung—ever the sunshine—was chatting about something random, though Hyunjin barely listened. His eyes were fixed solely on the gym doors, waiting.
Then Seungmin appeared.
The moment he stepped out, in his volleyball uniform—jersey clinging to his slim waist, shorts leaving little to the imagination—the hallway seemed to hold its breath. His delicate, almost feminine silhouette contrasted sharply with the sharp edge of his energy, making heads turn. He didn’t notice the stares at first, too busy waving goodbye to his teammates.
That’s when it happened.
A boy leaning against the lockers across the hall let out a low whistle, dragging it just long enough to make it obvious. “Damn,” the boy muttered, smirking. “Didn’t know Seoul High’s volleyball captain looked like that off the court.”
Seungmin froze, eyes widening slightly, a mix of embarrassment and irritation flashing across his face. But before he could even respond—before the boy could blink—Hyunjin was already moving.
The air dropped cold.
Hyunjin’s steps echoed like a warning, his towering figure casting a long shadow as he closed the distance. He didn’t say a word at first, only staring down at the boy with that piercing, ice-cold gaze that made people feel like their lungs couldn’t expand.
The boy tried to laugh it off, suddenly shifting uncomfortably. “Chill, man, it was just a joke—”
Hyunjin tilted his head, voice low and sharp. “Do I look like I’m laughing?”
San’s lips curled into a dangerous smirk as he watched, while Wooyoung leaned casually against the wall, sing-songing, “Told you not to mess with Seungminie.”
Seungmin hurried over, cheeks puffed in annoyance but also slightly pink. He tugged at Hyunjin’s sleeve, looking up with his bright eyes. “Hyune, don’t waste your breath on idiots. Come on.”
Hyunjin finally tore his gaze away from the boy, who was now practically melting into the lockers. Instead, he looked down at Seungmin, his icy expression softening ever so slightly. Without another word, Hyunjin draped his jacket over Seungmin’s shoulders, covering the jersey and shorts from view.
The hallway collectively sighed—half in awe, half in envy—as Hyunjin placed a protective hand on Seungmin’s lower back and guided him away.
“Let’s go home,” Hyunjin muttered, voice softer than anyone else ever got to hear.
Seungmin grinned up at him, bumping their shoulders together playfully. “Only if you buy me tteokbokki.”
Hyunjin didn’t answer, but the faintest twitch at the corner of his lips gave him away.
