It was yet another typical Friday night at Sam and Colby’s house; alcohol, music, small hangout between the five of you.

Colby had Malia sitting on his lap, his hands rested on the junction of her thighs and hips; where they connect, keeping her secure on his lap.

Sam was leaned back on his own side of the couch, one arm rested along the back of the couch, the other propped up on the arm of the black leather couch, drink in hand.

Katelyn, Sam’s girlfriend was dancing and singing around the middle of the living room; obnoxiously..

You were sat on the black leather loveseat, opposite of the couch Sam, Colby, and Malia sat on, a white wine glass in hand; you didn’t drink hard liquor.

The different selections of alcoholic beverages sat atop the glass coffee table, consisting of red and white wine, Jack Daniel’s whiskey, rum, Hennessy, etc.

Music blasted from the large smart-TV in the background, Katelyn’s voice singing over it occasionally.

Unbeknownst to you, Colby, and Malia, Katelyn and Sam had been arguing a lot more here recently, getting into it with each other— and were just genuinely going through a bad time with each other.

Katelyn’s current obnoxious, albeit drunken, behavior only further agitated Sam, though he hid that from everyone else.
