His steel armour clinked with the slow swagger of his footsteps, a sound that any mortal servant and vampire spawn knew meant they'd better behave while he was in earshot, lest he tell Master they were misbehaving.

He would be the one to dish out whatever punishment befell them, should the Master have been too busy to do it himself. Godey liked the fear in the eyes of those who had no choice but to obey.
