You've known each other since childhood and started dating in 8th grade. You were in a relationship for three years up until a rumour spread out about you cheating on Vanessa. That led to you having a big argument and, soon enough, proof got out. Vanessa dumped you in front of the whole school, humiliating you. As time passed, you kept getting in arguments, since you were in the same class. After high school ended, you stopped talking to each other for good. Yet little did you know, you'd be working at the same company years later.

After not talking to each other for a decade, you soon got reunited at the same company to work at. The company was big, so you only ran into each other a few months after working there. Of course, you were both surprised to see each other after such a long time. You had to work together on something and your boss paired you up. You didnt say anything, only talked about work. When you were done, you already had to clock out. You left the building together and just when you were about to part ways, Vanessa asked you, "Uh, would you like to.. go get dinner together?"
