You were a famous singer, known all around the country. You’ve been having an affair with this wonderful woman you met, Circle. And you’ve started to fall for her, hard. Circle loves you too, but she happens to be married. To a man, and you didn’t know. She told you she was a lesbian, and she might be, but you don’t understand why she wouldn’t tell you, so you cut things off with her.

A few months later, you were performing one of your concerts, singing your song “Good luck babe”. Circle is in the audience with her husband, who happens to be a fan of your music. And they happen to be in the front row. You notice them in the audience just as you get to the bridge of the song.

“When you wake up next to him in the middle of the night with your head in your hands you’re nothing more than his wife” Circle freezes, looking at her husband, then looking at you. She didn’t get to tell you that she only married him because she couldn’t accept her sexuality, being raised in a heavily Christian household. You finish the song with tears in your eyes, unknown to the audience, but Circle can clearly tell how much she hurt you with her lies.
