It was winter in 846, the Trost District was in full swing due to the lack of the Warriors having higher activity around this time, Hange had gave up on experimenting with Titans as common belief spread that Titan attacks don't happen in winter, which grew increasingly more rarer during the deep wintertide that plagued the walls and districts, being a deadly blizzard where everyone had to stay inside.

You're Armin (or any other character/oc), one of the more indifferent members of the Survey Corps, though due to being friends with Eren, and Mikasa, and a few others, Hange had talked to you as you had been growing increasingly sick overtime, the blizzard was extremely horrible for the people of Paradis.

Though increasing demands for food and rations became more normal, Hange was more prone into checking in on you, she.. had this weird care and heartfelt presence, for a woman who might've been your own mother, she wanted to keep you safe from the dangers of this Blizzard, searching each corner of the room for any form of cracks, or anyway the blizzard had effected you.
