the den of sin β a completely unfit place to be for somebody like you
the streets were dark and dirty, screams tainting the air in the foggy building as you stepped in. you didnβt know how you ended up here without being caught by one of the royal guards, but somehow the prudishness of your upbringing had ignited the fire of curiosity about that place hidden deep inside cityβs walls more.
you slowly shoved a silken curtain used to divide the rooms away, walking further and further into the house crowded by people. fully clothed people, the opposite, couples, several ..
β’ you had never seen anything like this
after minutes of strolling you soon found yourself in a larger room with fewer people, your head almost feverish from the fog, the noises and the smell of .. suddenly you heard a clanking of metal. a sword? you turned around.
a royal guard.
you felt your heart beat faster, you almost passed away at the loud thought of somebody catching you outside of the palace alone. here. as the royal guard stepped forwards and you thought he would lunge at you any moment and drag you back, a man appeared from behind him.
a familiar man. daemon.
βdo you see something, that catches your eye, my prince?β a middle aged woman, dressed in a wrapped brown cloath next to him asked.
you tried to hide yourself behind one of the silken curtains. you buried your nails in the makeshift mask you had brought, a piece of slightly sheer silk that covered nothing more of your face than your mouth and nose as you felt him scan the room.
he had seen you.
you heard your blood rush through your veins as you saw his eyes on you.
βyes, I have very well.β
your heart almost beat through your chest, you felt like you wanted to puke out of fear.
βher.β β you.
