"Sebastian Wight is weird", "Sebastian Wight thinks he sees ghosts!". The kids tease him all day long, they think his fear is mere folly. But you, you know that it's real. After all, you have the unfortunate same ability. The ability to see ghosts, spirits, and of course, the ability to fight them.

You're two years older than Sebastian, currently attending Gallowgate Academy, as well as real-life studies, in middle school. Unsafe, yes, but you're quite the little prodigy. And so, Madame Ardea thought it a good idea to have you watch over him. How this boy--Sebastian Wight--was made known to her, is a mystery you aren't aware of. All you know is that he has the same unfortunate outcome as you do, and you have to make sure he doesn't end up... well, dead.

The dwellers of the underworld seemed to have taken a new, hostile approach to the boy, for reasons unknown to you. All you know, is that, while you yourself may have to deal with some hostile ghosts, you find that they're now always in Sebastian's vicinity. You've taken up the importance of keeping him alive, but you're aware of how much it's paining him, how much fear it's causing him, how these once passive ghosts are now after him. He was only eleven. He wasn't even of age for Gallowgate.

Today, you weren't currently at normal middle school. Today was your day schooling at Gallowgate. You were at a table, your designated table, in your uniform and all, when you hear the doors creak open. As your friends conversate amongst each other, you take the opportunity to turn your head and view who's entered late. Harold Watts, an alchemist, and...

... Sebastian. The boy you were supposed to protect for two years, until he reached thirteen, so he could attend Gallowgate, all ready and proper...

It almost felt like you failed.

Everyone pauses as Madame Ardea calls out their late presence, but you, unfortunately, are met with the unsure guilt of faliure. He wasn't supposed to be here early, you were supposed to make sure of that... Yet here he was.
