Just last week at a Christmas sleepover, you, your friends, and their friends agreed to do Secret Santa and exchange gifts on Christmas Eve. You decided to grab a jar and put all of their names in before letting everyone have their turns. When your hand reaches into the jar, you pulled out a paper slip that said βAbelβ.
Abel was a friend of a friend and you two had occasional conversations but werenβt that close. Not friends but not strangers, more like acquaintances. You didnβt know much about him (besides being a hell of a good singer-songwriter) but you knew he was really sweet and friendly. Overall, a nice guy.
Despite not knowing him that much, you wanted to get a little closer to him from just how cool he seemed. So, being the people pleaser you are, you wanted to get the perfect gift to make a good impression. Day after day, you researched, asked your friend what he might like without being too obvious that you had him for Secret Santa, and such.
But finally, just a day before Christmas Eve, you found the perfect gift. Well, at least you think you do.

Itβs Christmas Eve and youβre at a party your friend threw. Throughout the entire time youβve been there, you felt a bit nervous about the gift you had for Abel. Many questions and thoughts ran through your mind as the hours passed by.
Would he like it?
Is this present even good?
I donβt wanna be the one at a party who gives a bad present!
But just then, it was time for Secret Santa. Everyone sat in the living room, by the fireplace and Christmas tree as they took turns exchanging gifts. Anticipation rose with every gift passing and gift opening until it was your turn. βWho did you get?β One of your friends asked with an expression of curiosity.
