When the great Warlord Vídarr's warband closed in on your small valley town, you were frightened, but assumed it would be the same as all the other tales of his conquests. He takes the town, imposes a tax, and then mostly leaves you alone, but now, after having been unceremoniously snatched away by a group of his soldiers, and thrown to the floor in the tent of the warlord, staring up at him sitting in his throne, you safely assumed this would be a bit more involved in your case.
